Prapat promises to reform SRT

Prapat Chongsanguan, the new governor of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), plans to improve railway hardware, services and workers' morale across the country as part of his plan to boost the quality of the railway within two and a half years.

Prapat: Wants to significantly improve infrastructure, service and morale

The cabinet last Monday approved the selection of Mr Prapat. He is the second SRT governor to be appointed by a selection process and the first SRT governor who was an outsider before taking the helm of the troubled state enterprise.
