US man's body in Chiang Mai canal

Chiang Mai police said the body of a 56-year-old American man who had extensive injuries was found floating in a canal on Wednesday.
Police received a report that there was dead body in a water supply canal in Muang district of Chiang Mai province, according to a report in posttoday.com.
At the scene, investigators found the shirtless body of a male foreigner wearing jeans. The corpse was pulled from the water. One of the man's legs was reported to have been broken and his chest was caved in. There were also signs of a blow to the head.
