House panel urges Sorayuth to resign

The House panel on political development, media and public participation has asked Sorayuth Suthassanachinda to resign from his journalistic duties while a probe is under way into whether he defrauded a TV channel of advertising revenue.

Sorayuth: Asked to go while probe under way

The popular TV personality should resign immediately without waiting to see whether prosecutors will forward embezzlement charges against him to the courts, said Suphachai Sila, chairman of the committee sub-panel looking into the affair.

    At least Sorayuth didn't defraud the public/tax-payers AND he returned the money. If he should resign,then so should most MP's and officials.
