Court accepts petitions against rally

The Constitution Court has accepted for consideration three petitions asking that it order the Pitak Siam group to call off the anti-government rally planned for Nov 24, reports said.

The petitions were filed by former senator Ruangkrai Leekijwattana, Pheu Thai Party member Singthong Buachum and lawyer Nuengdin Wimuttinant, citing Section 68 of the constitution.

The court said on Wednesday it would invite Gen Boonlert Kaewprasit, or Seh Ai, the Pitak Siam leader, to appear before it tomorrow, Nov 22, and testify.

They have no reason to justify the rally because the government has clearly toed the line," Mr Plodprasop said.

    Toed who's line? TS's Line?
If they have clearly toed the line then why all the concern?
Only the Red Shirts are allowed to have a Rally?
Sorry that's not how Democracy works.

Is this emocracy PT style? Smear opponents with accusations of "fake red shirts", call them "nobody's" and puppets and try to sue them into submission.

I guess the right to demonstrate and criticize government is reserved disciples of the great fugitive only.

It will be interesting to see if the courts are 100% in control of the fugitive PM in Dubai.
