Senators warn of rice scheme debt crisis

The Senate has warned the rice-pledging scheme could sink the nation deeper into debt.

Senators told a general debate yesterday they believe the government is trying to conceal its mistake by keeping its attempts to export pledged rice a secret.

    Everybody in he world seems to understand that this is failed policy that will cost Thai tax payers hundreds of billions of baht. Except that is, for PTP politicians and the Isaan millers and large rice growers that are stuffing their pockets with tax payer money.
    Time for tax payers and ordinary citizens to stand up. Maybe it will start today with Pitak Siam.
