This government is good? Or this prime minister is capable? Please don't be so stupid. The wholw world knows what are they up to but only the Thais. A very very sad case!

The 6year old daughter of a friend in Songkla just got her school issued PTP tablet. The Mum's verdict, she hates it, she said beforehand her daughter and her friends played and studied together, now it is only the tablet they want to play with.

Considering the well documented problems with computer obsession both globally and here training the little ones to become obsessed with technology is another one of PTP many unintended consequences from its populist programs like holding water in the dams and paying over the top for rice.

The last paragraph explains why Thailand is stuck in the muck of its own making. Nothing about improving education or preparing its people for the future that is already here. Not a word about equality among its people or equal application of the laws and fighting corruption. Thailand always sets its goals low enough to achieve, then pats itself on the back as a winner.

There will be no change because of Peau Thai's majority.
However, it will be very interesting to see how Yingluck handles a grilling. She is responsible for her party's policies and so far they have been atrocious.

The rice policy is likely to cost 10 BILLION dollars... For what? To appease a voting bloc of rice farmers and a tranche of corrupt officials. How many schools, roads and hospitals could that have bought? Just think about that obscene amount... For the average American (not Thai) it would take 344,820 years to earn that... But Yingluck and pals have lost that in a year. Come on, Red Fans... defend it some more.

It is one thing being confidant with her ability to handle the debate it another thing coming up with the true answers to some searching questions that need to be asked,No doubt she will be protected from the more discerning questions. All MP should have a certified copy of the account from all departments other wise having the debate is as good as useless.

If most people are convinced the PM is doing a good job, this proves one thing...most people totally lack the intelligence to analyze the true working of this government....Yingluck is a pretty facade for an evil government led by a convicted criminal on the run with cronies executing his doomsday scenario for Thailand.....

Only 6% wanted it to look into social issues including environmental protection and problems concerning children and youth. What a sad state of affairs..
