Prosecutor to receive Tan charges next week

Land encroachment charges against a son of Democrat MP Suthep Thaugsuban will be forwarded to the prosecutor on Monday, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) says.
Tan Thaugsuban is accused of occupying land on Khao Phaeng mountain on Koh Samui in Surat Thani province.
Pol Lt Col Prawut Wongsinil, chief of the DSI's consumer and environment protection division, said Mr Tan had been charged with destroying forest and unlawfully occupying public land under the Forest Act.
