Leading educators have urged the government to take concrete action to reform Thailand's education system after the country was ranked near the bottom in a recent global report.
The results of the survey were reported in The Learning Curve, published by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). They were also published on the website www.pearson.com.
The report on 40 nations showed that Thailand ranked 37th in education, while Finland, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore, respectively, were the top five countries.
