Cathay axes attendant after coffee threat

A Thai female cabin attendant with Cathay Pacific, who was at the centre of alleged misconduct involving ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's youngest daughter, was fired on Monday.

The airline issued a statement saying: "We have investigated the matter thoroughly. We can confirm that the incident involved a member of our cabin crew who has privately posted certain information on a social media site about one of our passengers and that it is an unauthorised incident.

"We can also confirm that the cabin crew concerned is no longer an employee of the company,'' it said.

Looks like the "usual nothing-to-do- red-housewives-who-are-making-an-extra-Dubai-baht for protesting....Don't ask them WHY they are protesting... you will be met by a blank stare....rather ask them how much they received to come and make silly noise...LOL and LOL

If the names of politicians and influential people, along with the amount of money they have stashed away in places like Hong Kong and Singapore was ever released, there would be a revolution before the sun rose again.
Large scale corruption cannot take place without the involvement of bankers. Even if deals are done in cash, somebody must withdraw it from an account somewhere. I still wonder what Thaksin had in all those suitcases he took when he fled the country.

50 protesters...all paid out of Dubai to protest??? And I will never fly Cathay anymore for the simple reason they let themselves be intimidated by a criminal on the run....

I despise Thaksin.

However, the flight attendant didn't just act unprofessionally, she made a threat against a passenger. All passengers, even ones that the cabin crew may not like have a right to the best service possible and above all to complete safety while on board a plane.

Thaksin's daughter would be within her rights to file a complaint with the Thai police against the flight attendant.
