I don't miss reading the comments any time I visit Bangkokpost. Interestingly, people usually find a way to link any news with Thanksin and Comments against him usually receieve more likes while those in his favour receive more dislikes. The flight attendant acted irresponsibly. That's it.

I will not be flying Cathay Pacific.

Discussion 8 brilliant : whether the flight attendant's blog comment constitute a crime or thought is of not much importance. The important issue is that her thought of trying to insult a passenger due to her own personal hatred against thaksin is to be condemned. She deserved to be fired by cathy pacific.

The most interesting and unexpected element in this story is the way some people who have defended red shirt members who have said far more inflammatory things, are attacking this woman and stretching the facts (and in some parts, fantasy) to the point where one would think an actual threat to society was narrowly averted.

Legal action should be taken against cathay pacific because of the distribution of confidential and sensitive information. I always used cathay pacific going to hong kong but will never use this airline again because of security concerns and unethical behavior of their staff. Most Thai's need to learn how to perform professional duties without emotions.

"I called my personal adviser asking if it would be all right to throw coffee at Paetongtarn, but was told that this could breach Hong Kong's laws."

This is a typical example of thai style arrogant elitism. Very disappointed to learn such an elitism attitude still happening in today's thailand.

Cathay Pacific's license should be suspended because of the breach of passenger's security and confidentiality. Clearly, these have all been compromised.

Interesting that the Shinawatra family is using a foreign airline instead of supporting Thai......

People like this must be taken out they are totally irrational and have no self control this person shouldn't be employed in an aircraft anyway since not fit for job, was this a Thai employee? Cathay has many.

"I called my personal adviser asking if it would be all right to throw coffee at Paetongtarn, but was told that this could breach Hong Kong's laws."

Actually she was only seeking advise on a rather clumsy subject but based on the advise did not do it. She also did not disclose the passenger manifest, but only named one person who was on that flight. Now that might be questionable, but on the other side, an airplane is a public transport where anybody can see and be seen.

Not that I support this kind of actions, but it is nice to see that Thaksin has "friends" allover the place, not just in Thailand.
