Sea of yellow greets His Majesty

Well-wishers camp out for glimpse of the King

Hundreds of thousands of people converged on the Royal Plaza, in front of the Ananata Samaklhom Throne Hall, on Wednesday to view His Majesty the King's grand audience, celebrating his 85th birthday.

In 2006, his loyal subjects turned the Royal Plaza and the length of Ratchadamnoen Avenue into a sea of yellow for the royal grand audience to mark the 60th anniversary of the King's accession to the throne.

Stay united and love each other like brothers and sister, Thai People. The Land of Smiles, in my humble opinion, is not full of smiles compared to the past.

Politicians dream about receiving such a natural mass outpouring of love, adoration, and emotion. They even seem to feel that they deserve it. They even seem to expect it. But the only way they can get any is through continuous deception. They are like candles compared to the sun though they mistake themselves for the sun.

SPECTACULAR!! Filling the hearts of millions, amazing. If you have been staying in Thailand for a decade or more, you will agree that it is these wonderful sights that pulled you to stay in this lovely country. If you have never been to any such celebration, head for sanam luang this evening or tonight - huge crowd, but no chaos and nothing to worry about. Wish that everyday, in Thailand was like this. If you are a new visitor to Thailand, let me tell you that life was this good and wonderful for a long time.

Long Live The King! His Majesty has led by example and the Kingdom has prospered immensely by his leadership. His Majesty's untiring devotion to the Thai people has improved the quality and well-being of our lives.
