Every square inch of the Royal Plaza and nearby avenues teemed with yellow-clad subjects yesterday as they paid tribute to the Father of the Nation.

"I love our King so much," said Narumol Suwannahong, a retired assistant professor. "Because of his love, I have been a dedicated public servant. Because of love for the King, I cannot stand corruption, which is why I chose to be a teacher," she said.
