Police arrest Reisz murder suspect at MBK

Hungarian accused of killing business partner

Police have arrested a Hungarian man suspected of killing a compatriot and business partner in Phuket late last month.

Police inspect a two-storey house at the Phanason Housing Estate of Muang district in Phuket Wednesday to look for evidence linked to the murder of Hungarian businessman Peter Reisz. ACHADTAYA CHUENNIRAN

Moshe David, 35, who also holds Thai nationality, was arrested while standing in front of an ATM machine at the MBK shopping centre in Bangkok Wednesday.

    @Discussion 4 No, the moral of the story is don't use your credit or debit cards if you are wanted for a serious crime. Instead of deactivating them, law enforcement can use them to pinpoint someone's location in real time.

    That's the problem with those ATM's. You can't take out enough money in one day to pay a simple bribe. What a shame. But that's OK maybe he got enough money out to pay his own bail. I'll bet he wishes he was a Thai MP right about now.

    Totally agree. Good police work! That shows, if they want to catch a suspect, they have the ability to do so. The question is, why are some caught and some a forgotten?

    horrific crime....but in all honesty...Thai police is often targeted as incompetent and corrupt.
