Three eye-witnesses yesterday told the Southern Bangkok Criminal Court that Italian photojournalist Fabio Polenghi was killed by army gunfire during the 2010 crackdown on red-shirt protesters.

Two other witnesses have already testified, on Oct 10, at the inquest into the death of Polenghi, who was killed by a high-velocity bullet on May 19, 2010.

There are another 32 witnesses who have still to appear for the state and eight more listed by the lawyer for the dead man's relatives.

Mr. Cox has no proof who shot him too, other than he knows it came from were soldiers were so he assumed it must be the soldier. I think there is a high possibility its the soldiers as they just shoot whatever moves.

That doesn't discount there are not men in black with guns. Al Jazeera network has news footages of men in black with guns for those who claim there is no evidence.

One witness confirmed the existence of the men in black and that they were red shirts, so that's one denial that can be put to rest.

As usual, red shirt haters here who were absent at the scene will come up and deny what the eye witnesses had testified in court.
