Trafficked thai women brought home

Five Thai women arrived home yesterday after being rescued from forced prostitution in Bahrain last week.

IN SAFE HANDS: Five Thai women return home after being rescued from a brothel in Bahrain. A total of 21 Thais were recently rescued from forced prostitution in a coordinated effort by Bahraini authorities and the Thai embassy in Bahrain.

The five were welcomed by Pol Lt Col Chusak Apaipak of the anti-human trafficking division and Pavena Hongsakula, president of Pavena Foundation for Children and Women.
