Thaksin's appearance 'just a coincidence'

BANGKOK - Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's appearance at a muay Thai event in Macau on Sunday night that was broadcast live on state-run Channel 11 was just a coincidence, Pheu Thai Party spokesman Prompong Nopparit said on Monday.

"The people who are criticising Thaksin's appearance are those who have a hidden political agenda," Mr Prompong said.

So Gen Boonlert is alluding to the fact that some people richer than TS did hire him to stage a coup.. but he failed.

Who can believe you, Mr Prompong Nopparit ? Even during soccer world cup, Thai channel can filter bad advertisings... There is a coincidence about Taksin appearance, of course between the boss of this channel and some high PTP executives... Nothing arrive accidentaly, otherwise we will see everyday crime, porn activities on our TV screen.....

"The appearance of Thaksin was a coincidence." If the minister actually believes in such coincidences, then he might be in for a rude awakening later this month, when her realizes that Santa really doesn't exist.
