BANGKOK - A woman has posted a story on an internet social network complaining that a group of armed men claiming to be police tried to force their way into her apartment without a search warrant.

The complaint was posted on the woman's Facebook account. Online communities have raged strongly against the police for their mishandling of the incident.

She said the men were supposedly from Wat Phraya Krai police station. They tried to enter her room without a proper search warrant or identification. They also tried unsuccessful to open the door with spare key. The men eventually left, she said.

Such a corrupt government. Allowing things like this to happen. Shame on them. How can people live with themselves when they do things like this? Guess who's in charge of the police?

Labelled the No. 1 security risk of Thailand by the UN, I am surprised stories like this can still cause a stir. The people are utterly sick of it, but "the system" - the State - fares well by the sheer none-existence of law enforcement.
Better dissolve the entire force and build a new. Save hundreds of billions of baht annually on lost productivity, while increasing security. It's time to call the shots. Other countries have done it (Iraq!) and it's certainly better than allowing the continuation of the present situation. Start today - and you're sure you win the next elections.

It's absurb again, another shameful new from the Police. Unfortunately, they will claim its a mistake again. What is happening Thailand ? We are living in fear instead.

ineptitude and negligence of the highest order. Good on the woman for standing her ground

Nothing new here, then. The police deny everything, until international exposure on the internet forces them to actually do their job. No more secrets. No more hiding the truth. Perhaps the police and others will eventually wake up to social media and act before instead of after they are shown up to be a total waste of time.

If these were police, they should be investigated and punished according to law and held to a higher standard because of their position of public trust. If not police, they should also be investigated and punished according to law. The photos should make them easy to identify.

The professionalism of the Thai police is a disgrace.

It is no wonder that they are held in low regard by the majority of citizens. The problem starts at the top.

What do the cops responsible for the police force do? Sweet nothing!!
