'Love' computers crash on 12-12-12

The computer system at the Bang Rak district office crashed on Wednesday, frustrating couples whoflocked to register their marriage on the auspicious date -- the 12th day of the 12th month in the year 2012.

Bang Rak district director Ziachana Soodcharoen said that couples had been standing in line since early morning, because Dec 12 of 2012 (12-12-12) was considered by many to be an auspicious day to get married.

Got married at Bang Rak 4 years ago and nothing was "computerized" - went to six different desks in succession where my paperwork was reviewed and stamped and passed to the next.

it can be said that today is lucky or may be unluck depending on how you look at it

Lucky = 12/12/12
unlucky = 1+2/+1+2/+2+0+1+2= 11 not so lucky

"started to slow down after it was installed at more than 1,000 district offices nationwide." Are there really more district offices than districts? Thailand count some 930 districts: +/- 880 amphoes and 50 districts.
