Thawil: I'll accept responsibility

If the Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation (CRES) is found guilty in its handling of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) protests in 2010, former National Security Council chief Thawil Pliensri says he is willing to accept responsibility.

Mr Thawil, currently an adviser to the prime minister, was secretary of the CRES, which was set up by the Abhisit Vejjajiva administration to handle the violent anti-government protests of the red-shirts in April-May 2010.

He said he was not happy that Abhisit Vejjajiva, the then-prime minister, and Suthep Thaugsuban, then deputy prime minister in charge of the CRES, have been charged with premeditated murder in connection with the crackdown on the protesters.

Keep this case running, it will expose who was behind the redshirt terrorists and what intentions he got.

Former National Security Council chief Thawil Pliensri sir, I applaud your honesty and your honourable intentions. If only there were more of your caliber we would not be in such mess as we are today. We are run mostly by corrupt self serving spineless men and women today and the results are clearly visible to anyone with half a brain.

Mr. AV and Mr. Suthep will take responsibility,,but he will still fight with the charges against him. Mr. Thawil Pliensri will take responsibility of handling the riots, but he will fight charges against him.

In fact, the emergency decree and reclaiming of protest site was the courts decision that the protests were illegal. Several attempts were made to cut the delivery of supplies, to give them time to think, a peace offering, early election, but the protesters remain stubborn and frequent calling of their possessed sand box fugitive criminal. M79 coming from reds side that hit Sala Deang and killed civilians.

..former National Security Council chief Thawil Pliensri says he is willing to accept responsibility...a court decision was made that the protests were illegal, nobody in the government that time shouldnt go to jail for handling the violent incidents which broke out during that time.

Mr. AV he will fight against the decision of guilty against him, he will stand in trial in court.

So what about the main intigator/s, the fugitive man living in sand box? He never, never fought in the court, he was clearly responsible for this mayhem 2009-2010.

Here's an idea: everyone involved starts doing the same - agreeing to take responsibility pending an investigation, then see who are the last ones to put their hands up.

Mr. Tarit conflict of interest. Should never have been the investigating officer. Is this legal??
