People in the Rama III area of Bangkok could be without electricity for all of Saturday after a crane dragged down 28 electricity poles in the morning.

Around 7am, the boom of a crane being driven from a construction site got caught in the power lines, bringing down the poles, causing damage to seven cars and one house as well as injuring six people. All of the injured were rushed to hospital and are safe.
