The appearance of former premier Thaksin Shinawatra on a televised boxing broadcast last Sunday was inappropriate, say 36.7% of people questioned in a new poll.

Another 13.9% of respondents had no problem with the appearance, saying it was the right of those who bought airtime from state-owned NBT. The rest had no opinion, said pollsters from the National Institute of Development Administration (Nida).

Nida interviewed 1,270 people randomly selected throughout the country on Thursday and Friday for their views on Thaksin's appearance on NBT (Channel 11) during the live broadcast of the Muay Thai Warriors event from Macau on Dec 9.

so the other 50% had no opinion? either these polls are unprofessional or the Bangkok Post reporting on them is extremely flawed.
