PM: No rift over Bangkok vote

There is no division among Pheu Thai MPs over the party's candidate for the post of Bangkok governor, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra insisted on Saturday.

Ms Yingluck was responding to reports that there was a division in the governing party between MPs who supported Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan and backers of Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen.

Khunying Sudarat is a former cabinet member and executive of the defunct Thai Rak Thai Party founded by Thaksin Shinawatra. Pol Gen Pongsapat is the secretary-general of the Office of the Narcotics Control Board.

"this is a problem for Pheu Thai who have so many capable, experienced, talented canditates to choose from"

make your votes count and choose well/wisely, only vote for good people.. same type of desperate plea I heard before the 2011 election

Bangkok is the only true democratic place in Thailand where the voters cannot easily be appeased with goodies and empty promises. This is a battle ground state where policies and the substance of the candidates matter to the voters. Issues pertaining to the well being of Bangkok citizens have to be articulated, debated and challenged extensively to win the hearts and minds of the populace; so all voters taking part in this crucial election, make your votes count and choose well / wisely. This is how the future of Thailand’s democracy ought to become for the sake of our future generation. God bless Thailand !!!

So Pheu Thai no longer wants an appointed rather than elected governor of Bangkok?

..There is no division among Pheu Thai MPs over the party's candidate for the post of Bangkok governor, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra insisted on Saturday.

But recently in the news, it was known that there are PTP members walk out during selection of candidate. This PTP is a laughing stock, they can not even administer countries needs, only good for 1 fugitive man.

It must be hard for PT to figure out which candidate people in Bangkok will dislike least .
