Police are asking people who were injured or suffered property damage in an accident caused by a construction crane on Rama III Road to file complaints with them.
The accident, which occurred about 6.30am Saturday in Bangkok's Yannawa district, knocked down 28 utility poles, causing an almost 15-hour blackout in large sections of Klong Toey and Yannawa districts.
The poles were dragged down by the crane boom between Rama III Soi 3 and Nang Linchi Road, damaging seven cars and a house nearby. Six people suffered minor injuries.
