Yingluck, investors to lobby Thein Sein

Thailand and Myanmar on Monday sought to drum up investor interest in the stalled Dawei port and industrial megaproject.

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and 40 Thai business leaders flew to Dawei on the Andaman coast for talks with President Thein Sein and other officials about the joint development.

Thein Sein voiced a "strong desire" at the meeting to implement the project.

While Thais in the south are killed the Puea Thaksin regime is giving priority to business deals to enrich their leader and his cronies. The true colors of this dictatorship are being yet again.

Currently, Thai PM and country put so much affords to lobby this project under their hands. We should not let them do as brokers for our National project. Myanmar nationals should have this opportunities and power to decide and choose who should join with us.

Actually, this is my dream for my country quite a long time and hope my dreams will become reality with the hands of my countrymen.

As this project was formerly given to a Thai Construction Company; which was ultimately leading to failure together with loss of opportunities to Myanmar national.

Myanmar has given the precious time to an inappropriate company. We should take this as a lesson and should give these opportunities to Myanmar nationals work jointly with countries which have strong financial instruments, technological know-how and experiences.

Nobody can argue that this project is so much beneficial to Myanmar. This is an Essential National Development Project which must be done by the Myanmar nationals and Government.

Off course, Myanmar doesn’t have financial investment to this project; we can do as a Macro Union Project with supports of countries which will be jointly beneficial by this project. By doing this, this project will be financially and economically viable. It will have the strength and fair to all related countries, such as, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India, China, Japan, Africa, UAE and EU countries as a whole.

Quit frankly no investor will put money into a project such as this with world economy in the fragile state it is in.It can only serve one purpose and that is to line the pockets of a few at more expense to the tax payer and those who have lost there land for it.

I have said this before and I will try again, Thailand can build it's own deep port and a canel down south, which will bring jobs to the area and maybe peace, but nobody wants to listen, ships can pass though and save time and money and ships can head straight to China and the west.instead of going around Singapore, but who will think of an easy way like this, but all this will cost money to build, I think it is a good idea, ??

Here all can see PM how try to develope Thailand. Compare this action with Mr.Abhisit and Democratic Party During there's time in power. They don't do anything at all for Thailands development! They only hunting Khun Thaksin , (they still hunting) with order from Bangkok Elites and Military.
