Temporary yellow ID card returns

Bangkokians seeking to renew their ID cards will have to use temporary yellow cards for the time being because stocks of blank official identification cards have run out, City Clerk Ninart Chalitanon said on Tuesday.
Mrs Ninart said a contractor failed to deliver the ID cards to the Department of Provincial Administration (DOPA) by the deadline of Dec 15.
The DOPA delivered the last batch of ID cards to 15 districts in Bangkok, 100 cards for each district, today. District offices will be start issuing temporary yellow cards when the ID cards run out.
