Princess Sirindhorn has surgery

BANGKOK - Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn underwent surgical removal of calcium deposits in her chest, the Royal Household Bureau announced on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the bureau, doctors found the calcium deposits in the Princess' chest during an annual medical check-up at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
The Princess, 57, rested at the hospital on Sunday and underwent the surgery the next day. The deposits were successfully removed.
