Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has undergone surgical removal of calcium deposits from her chest, the Royal Household Bureau announced Tuesday.
The bureau said doctors found the deposits on the princess' chest during an annual medical check-up at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
The princess, 57, rested at the hospital on Sunday and underwent surgery the next day. The deposits were removed successfully.
