Plenty of new ID cards, says dept

There should be no shortage of blank smart cards for people seeking new ID cards in Bangkok and people should apply at their local district office, the Department of Provincial Administration (DOPA) said on Wednesday
Some district offices had run out of blanks, not all, and the department had now managed to supply cards to district that had run short.
Director of the Bureau of Registration Administration Tawatchai Tammarak said the contractor did not fail to deliver the ID cards to the department, as some reports suggested.
