Sukumpol asserts right to oust Abhisit

Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwanatat has conceded that stripping Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva of his military rank needs royal endorsement.

But he insists he has the authority to remove him from military service.

''The revocation of sub-lieutenant rank indeed needs royal endorsement. I only have the authority to revoke the ranks of acting sub-lieutenant or below,'' he said.

Sukumpol, why don't you spend your time solving the problems in the South of Thailand, rather than constantly harping on about an 'Alleged Draft Dodging case'. It really is looking foolish and obviously Politically motivated!

Does Sukumpol actually have the faked document that Abhisit was alleged to have used? Or is everything based on second hand information? If he doesn't have the document, then this is truly nothing but a witch hunt, Thaksin & the PTP's version of reconciliation.
