Warrant for MP in 2011 fatal shooting

South Samut Sakhon provincial court has issued an arrest warrant for Democrat MP Kanchit Tabsuwan on a charge of premeditated murder.

The warrant was approved on Wednesday evening. Mr Kanchit is the main suspect in the murder of the former chairman of the Samut Sakhon Provincial Administration Organisation, Udon Kraiwatnussorn, at a petrol station on Dec 25, 2011.

Provincial Police Region 7 Commissioner Pol Lt Gen Harnpon Nitwiboon said police had requested the warrant based on the evidence and witnesses' testimonies on hand. Pol Lt Gen Harnpon also said that he is not pressured by the case, in which the suspect is a politician.

    Disc.4:"hes a Dem,ah now i understand"

Yes, he's a Dem MP. Why hasn't the PT controlled parliament voted to waive his immunity?

One year and one day after the facts.

    Only in Thailand.

Hopefully this politician will go to jail and will not get bail – and normally I support Abhisit and the good guys in his party.
I hope lot of the usual Anti-Thaksin people in this forum post a similar comment to show the reds that we don’t have the attitude “he is one of us so he should get away with it”.
As far as I remember previous articles about this the evidence is clear so he should be punished according to the crime – now and not after a decade of bail.
