CHAIYAPHUM – Police on Thursday arrested a transgender man for attacking an elderly woman he owed money to and stealing her money and gold jewellery.

Police said Roongnapat Gornthaisong, 32, from Nong Khai province, told 60-year-old Ratchanee Chaiyasit, also from Nong Khai, that his friend would return 50,000 baht he had borrowed from her if she went to an apartment in Chaiyaphum province on Tuesday night.
