Poll: Sukhumbhand more popular

Nearly one quarter of people polled recently would vote for incumbent Bangkok governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra in next month's election, Nida Poll reported on Saturday.

However, 40% of voters remain undecided, the National Institute of Development Administration (Nida) said.

The pollsters based the results on a survey taken between Dec 25 and Jan 4. It interviewed 3,356 eligible voters of all education levels and occupations, aged 18 years and up, in all 50 districts of Bangkok.

In another poll the split was 28% for the Dem and 24% for the PTP with a huge percentage undecided. This race is too tight to call at the moment.

People in Bangkok knows who is best person to lead them, this man is tested and I think that's his edge over the other candidates. Mr. Sukhumband has nothing to worry because Bangkokians are smart enough not to replace a good man with high morals and dedication to serve his constituents. Development of a nation is not measured only on the physical aspects. Establishing unity among the people is a long term development as it will susttain a good foundation which will drives it people to move forward into their dreams.

You have my support Sukhumband .PT had their chance and they put an inexperienced family member of the fugitive in power and then implemented stupid policies that have destroyed industry .Plant some more trees and focus on making Bangkok more livable .Trains and subways too please as many as you can .Cars can sit in traffic all day if they want but at least there will be an alternative .
