Schoolboy bashed, left in bushes

CHON BURI : A 15-year-old schoolboy survived being drugged, severely beaten and dumped in a bush near a reservoir on Friday night.

Chon Buri police arrived at Bang Phra reservoir in Sri Racha district about 1am yesterday, where they found rescue workers performing first-aid on the seriously wounded teenager.

The victim was later identified as Peeraphat Pranpanus, a Mathayom 3 (Grade 9) student at Darasamut School in Chon Buri.
