Schoolboy bashed, left in bushes

CHON BURI : A 15-year-old schoolboy survived being drugged, severely beaten and dumped in a bush near a reservoir on Friday night.

Chon Buri police arrived at Bang Phra reservoir in Sri Racha district about 1am yesterday, where they found rescue workers performing first-aid on the seriously wounded teenager.

The victim was later identified as Peeraphat Pranpanus, a Mathayom 3 (Grade 9) student at Darasamut School in Chon Buri.

There's more to this story than senseless violence. Suspected vengeance implies retribution for some action taken by the current victim. Numerous possible scenarios exist, just like Thai soaps.
