UTCC: 2013 export growth 3.1-7.2%

The country’s export growth for 2013 is projected in the range of 3.1% to 7.2%, Ath Pisalvanich, director of the International Trade Studies Centre at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), said on Tuesday.
Export value is expected to be US$238.17-246.68 billion.
Mr Ath said one main negative factor that affects the export sector was global economic fluctuation, particularly the economic slowdown in the US and Japan, major export markets of Thailand.
