4 teachers honoured for great dedication

Four teachers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty will be recognised with an award next Wednesday to mark National Teacher's Day.
The "great teachers with ideology" award was presented for the first time in 2007 in memory of Juling Pongkanmoon, a teacher who was killed by insurgents in Narathiwat.
Each year, the Office of Basic Education Commission selects four teachers who meet the award's criteria _ working in a multicultural community or high-risk area; having at least three years teaching experience; having made significant sacrifices for students; and recognition from students, teachers and society.
