Something positive, the Army Chief plays the game of the democracy. The Gvt of Thailand, legally elected, decides, not the ultra nationalists. even if they have the right to give their point of view.

If the outcome is not as the PAD movement expected, it should fight the ICJ in the court, and not on the street.

you would think in the year 2013 / 2556 that they could just make it a joint land and make ever one happy as its a Temple may be they should think kike a Temple instead of just self centered on both sides

This is not really about a 4.6 sq km plot of land, it is more about "face" and national pride. Like any dispute in Thailand the Red and Yellow groups instantly adopt opposite viewpoints. I am sure if PT said "this land must belong to Thailand even if it means war", then the PAD would be saying , "It's a trivial matter, let Cambodia have it".

Why is a policeman shown in the photo visiting the Army troops? Isn't this strictly the job of the Army Chief and not the police?

Who really cares about that little piece of land and the temple?
I don’t remember any mentioning of that temple maybe 10 years ago. It was just another temple in Nakhon Nowhere. Maybe a few locals and maybe a few archeologists visited it but as far as I know it was never even a small attraction.
Maybe Thailand should give it as a gift to Cambodia pretending it is part of Thailand now. This will make Thais feel good for making merit and the Cambodians feeling good for having another temple and all of us can go on with live and concentrate on more important issues.
