ASTV statement was more of an attack on women wasn't it?

It's not really a slur against General Prayuth, but a sexist slur against women. I guess that's what their protesting about.

How delightful it is to see the people who have used the soldiers as a political tools for decades now complaining that the army is going out if its duty.
Only people who have been condemned it in every circumstances in the past are credible, certainly not the ones who do only when it doesn't fit their political agenda.

ASTV can critize but they cross the line when they use degratory words. Will anyone stand by when a member of the family be insulted in such way especially in Thailand or any Adian countries?

I is very inappropriate for the soldiers to rally against the media outlet. The soldiers should be doing what they are supposed to be doing which is fighting the insurgents in the south of Thailand. This should be the top priority of the top brass in the army. It's their duty to protect the sovereignty and the people of Thailand. It is not their duty to support the government approach to the problem in Cambodia. The government foreign officer sneaked over to Cambodia and gave up the land that belonged to Thailand in return for some lucrative business deals for Thaksin no doubt.

They have every right. When someone talk to you like that about your father. Do you, as a son, would you defend your father's dignity or just let it pass?

insulting, completly out of line and a stern reminder of how deep the wounds in Thai society are scarred.
Never the less, a public apology must be aired.
