Discussion 1 Dignity? In Thailand? That same Thailand that has plans to deport thousands of children born on Thai soil, to the country of their parents? You can't protect something that isn't there.

Yes. It would be inhumain to send them home to their parents who abandonded them. Right....

You're Country is run by a proxy PM and the real PM is a convicted criminal fugitive with several cases pending. Your government is self-serving to the extreme. Your police force has the reputation of being the biggest criminal gang here and your military buys material that other countries laugh at. Your natural habitat is being destroyed and polluted at an alarming rate. A majority of your population condones graft and corruption. Etc.etc.etc...what dignity?

Dignity is very neighbour with ethic.... but I'm not sure the thai language has the word ethic in dictionnary... So to mention dignity in thai politic is not worth...
Thai know pride and nationalism, but about dignity they are very far from this concept which exclude corruption, liar, double-standard, hypocrisy, vote buying.....

One has to earn Dignity and Respect. As long as there is corruption, incompetence, infighting and total lack of empathy by the elite for the poor and underprivileged this country is destined for the poor house of Asia. Thailand lacks in quality education, medical care, age care and justice.
