Netizens rage at 'rich' man abusing law

The unnamed "rich" driver of a car involved in a traffic accident has become the target of attack by netizens after he allegedly claimed to have connections in high places and refused to take responsibility for running into a car in front of him, according to a report in Khao Sod newspaper.

Several pictures of him were posted on the Facebook social media website. According to the poster, he threatened to harm the driver of the car he rear-ended. He denied any responsibility and threatened the young man's sister during the argument.

So, did he have the breath or blood test for drug use?
Was he, like so very many rich and powerful, driving under the influence of teh popular drug that causes so much death, family agony and other violence and harm to Thai society?

"Both cars were travelling fast and the car in front of his braked abruptly, so they collided, which these posters said could happen to anyone." Still wrong big time, he traveled too close to the car in frond, as EVERYONE does around here for fear someone might overtake them, which is somehow related to loss of perceived face. Children in a playground, very few seem to grow up to mature humans.

Usually, most nations traffic laws state " the driver must have control of his vehicle at all times " and, in the event a car in front of him brakes suddenly and he strikes it, the driver of car number 2 , rich guy, is at fault.

Does not matter if the car ahead braked abruptly,he is driving too close for the speed. In most countries, I think he would be 100% at fault.He should also be charged for leaving the scene and refusing a breathalyser test.
