The different opinions and agenda of each groups about this issues will certainly knocked down Thai economy in the future. Instead of pushing this historical place a venue for each country to unite and work together for the welfare of it's people. People who built this century-old temple may now start to regret why of all the places around the world, they put it where it is today.

Do you know it ? In USA, A thief also can sue the owner of a house freely. And, there is an report that A old woman -who got burned on the leg with a hot coffee- sued the McDonald's, and she win her accident.

Is it true that Thaksin has sold the temple in exchange for petroleum rights for himself?

It seems that Thai justice has became the weapon of choice for all these people not doing well at elections. Enough time wasting.

Lawsuit, counter-lawsuit, criminal charges for what would normally be civil cases, defamation charges, blah blah blah

What a complete and utter waste of time. These people are taking up valuable time and resources with their nonsense. Someone should charge them with wasting public funds.

Grow up - this is schoolyard baby stuff. Then again it is Thailand politics!

To D1 - what are you talking about? You make NO sense whatsoever. Patriotism, nationalism and religion have all been used as excuses for centuries for countries that do not have the moral or legal right to support their argument or actions. And I make no exceptions - England, USA, France, Germany, Russia, Japan etc., are all guilty of historical travesties based on these irrational grounds. Learn from history - no-one wins in these "battles"!

"The six defendants are accused of violating Articles 83, 90, 91 and 157 of the Criminal Code, causing damage to the public."

If any group has caused real and substantial harm to ordinary Thai people it is these selfishly and dishonestly self-styled "patriots". They are not patriots. Their actions and motives do not have Thailand's or the Thai people's interests at heart, only their own selfish lust to control all by any means, except democratic means.

The patriots are the Srisaket villagers, decent, reasonable THai citizens, who want no part of this confrontational, violence inciting mob of ill-wishers.

I used to believe that Americans were the most sue happy people in the world!

And the same is true of the people who occupied Rajaprasong and then burned down parts of Bangkok and provincial halls upcountry. One group calls them patriots, but are not. The other group says they are against dictatorship - unless they are the dictators.

The Thai Patriots Network confused and occupied two International Airports and down-town in Bangkok with justifying what they has to say without saying a true purpose and reason. Owing to their willful obstructive activities, they had troubled to many peoples, tourists and exporting-companies.
