Fake repo men steal teacher's pickup

SI SA KET - Three men posing as repossession agents have stolen a pickup truck belonging to a school director, police said on Friday.

Ubonrat Nonglek, the director of Nong Dum Nong Kan Noi school in Pho Si Suwan district, told police that three men who claimed to be from an auto finance company took her pickup truck away on Tuesday.

However, the finance company has denied having sent any of its employees to repossess the vehicle. The documents the three men left with Mrs Ubonrat were not issued by the company.

Do not believe any repo man if you have not received written notification beforehand. The government should be protecting people from these loan sharks and fake repo men, but I don't think the PM cares.

It is not a well kept secret that certain employees of banks and finance companies can provide you with very confidential banking details about your clients or anyone you like to check on (provided you are on friendly terms with them).

How did they obtain the list of payment defaulters in order to select a weak victim? Sounds like a vehicle smuggling ring. Likely the pickup is now in Cambodia.

This is a syndicated crimes victimizing people who are law abiding citizens. Hope this sort of kind will be stop soon through police intervention. The picture shown is a substantial lead to identify these people.
