17 candidates for Bangkok governor

A total of 17 people applied early to run in the March 3 election for the job of Bangkok governor when candidacy registration opened on Monday morning.

All candidates registered at the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration before office hours so they could get in the queue early to draw a number for the order in which they will later draw a candidate number for the ballot paper.

Former Bangkok governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra, who will run for reelection under the opposition Democrat Party banner, drew number 16.

    .
    This is so simple, all we have to do is " Just Say No " to ;

    1. Those who burned our house.
    2. Those who worsen Bangkok traffic.
    3. Those who were to Serve & Protect, instead bullied us while in uniform.

    You know who you ain't going to vote !

    Normally, in the other world,candidates are required to present a specified number
    of "signed, identified" signatures of people indicating they would like "so and so " to run for office. This would bring the number, ( not yet totaled ),from today's high of 17 down to a more manageable,( cannot even fit 17 names on one page! ), more understandable, less costly figure but then............... this is Thailand where even Generals masquerading as people can run !
