Boy, 12, killed, man wounded in Pattani

A 12-year-old boy was killed and his step father seriously wounded in a ride-by shooting in Pattani's Nong Chik district on Monday night, police said.
Pol Col Yukol Prasartnanont, the Nong Chik police chief, said the incident occurred about 9.30pm on Highway 42 (Pattani-Hat Yai) at Ban Charang in tambon Don Rak.
Noknoi sae Lee, 41, was driving a motorcycle with her husband Narong Khongthon, 45, behind her and her 12-year-old son Navapol between them when they were followed by two men on another motorcycle.
