DSI warns Suthep of price collusion charges over bid

Former deputy premier Suthep Thaugsuban could face price collusion charges for his role in a contract to build hundreds of police station buildings, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) said yesterday.

The DSI said Mr Suthep may have violated the anti-bidding price collusion law when he intervened in the contract awarded under the former Democrat government.

PCC Development and Construction Co (PCC) won the bid to build 396 police stations nationwide for the Royal Thai Police Office (RTPO). The contract was worth 6.2 billion baht.
