Abortion clinic raided in Bang Sue

Police raided an illegal abortion clinic and arrested three people in Bang Sue district on Thursday.

Police were acting on an anonymous tip that an abortion clinic was operating in Phahon Yothin area.

They raided the clinic after an assigned patrol police was refused entry to it, Pol Lt Amnart Harn-Chana, deputy chief of the Bang Sue police, said.

    whether fetus, infant, or zygote when forcedly out from the mother's womb, still under abortion.This is illigal but made legal by some people for the reason being that your health, reputation, are at risk.

    I believe in legal, safe abortions. But man, you gotta draw the line somewhere. They were providing abortions for up to seven months? Seven months is looooong past the fetus stage. It's no longer an abortion, it's an induced birth. And it's not a fetus, it's a premature infant. Does any country in the world allow for such a late abortion?

    Sadly, Thai law is grossly unjust in many ways.
    The immoral abortion laws that harm women and society by denying safe, legal abortion are only one example amongst many.
