D5 Thailand is not a major source country for either ya ice, pills or even heroin, its a major transit point sure. And also a consumer of certain substances like any other country is.
Thailand just needs to stamp out corruption and adopt more modern approaches that don't criminalise the end user or those too poor to make their problems go away. Draconian attitudes, laws and sentences don't act as a deterrent in the past and neither do they now..

-2 To Buster: Drugs problem in Thailand has nothing do do with the situation in Myanmar. Don't try to tell me that Thais are not drugs producers. Drugs problem in this country will not be solve if Thais and even it's officials insist on their false thinking that these drugs which most tourist enjoy in this country came from other neighboring nations. wake up you've a lot to discover in your own backyard ...

For years there is an armed struggle in areas in myanmar were "free states" needs to be defended with urgently needed money, and since there are no potentual UN organisations whom are willing to support these freedom fighters they have only 1 choice left (like farc ect etc.) DRUG PRODUCTION.
And you (patchar) are still asking where and from whom?
