Poll: Border dispute won’t end happily

Most people polled recently did not believe the Thai-Cambodian border dispute would end in a good way for the country and that the case was being used as a political game, Abac Poll reported on Sunday.

Abac Poll from Assumption University interviewed 2,016 people aged 18 years up in 17 provinces, seeking opinions on the border dispute case, between Jan 22 and 26.

The provinces are Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Chon Buri, Phichit, Petchabun, Chiang Mai, Nan, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Roi-Et, Si Sa Ket, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Krabi, Songkhla and Narathiwat.

Contrarian. Are you saying that there is no border dispute and that it is fabricated by the opposition. Where are you from. When your friends won the election you were all saying that the border dispute was over. What went wrong. It is as strong as ever.

    ".......the Thai-Cambodian border dispute....."

Many people realize these Polls reflect Opposition opinions considering their roots, and are instruments to "launder" that opinion. This Abac Poll is an example. The questions imply that there is a 'border dispute'. An issue fabricated by elements within that Opposition. Historically, one can easily trace the roots of this thing to those elements, the PAD being the obvious perps. It also purports to identify emotional attachment to this Opposition thing, by talking about happiness and dissapointment. As if anyone outside these political elements care.
