ASTV boss clears army over gunfire

Aide of influential figure in police force suspected

The chief executive officer of ASTV-Manager Group Jittanart Limthongkul does not believe soldiers were involved in Saturday's gun attack on four cars belonging to ASTV Manager newspaper.

The dispute between the newspaper and army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha had already been cleared up, Mr Jittanart, son of Sondhi Limthongkul, a yellow-shirt People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) leader said yesterday.

The attack took place just two weeks after a war of words broke out between ASTV Manager and Gen Prayuth.

Throw up another angle, deepen the mystery and keep the story alive. Old school publicity stunt.

It makes us all feel much better that ASTV has taken over the investigation. With their vast investigative skills they will undoubtedly come up with what they always do and blame someone linked to a figure in Dubai. In the end more than 70% of the country detests Sonthi and his media outlets so that narrows the shooter down a bit.

"two security guards ..standing only 15 metres away from the last car which was shot at."

Half a dozen security guards, and only the guy that was in the toilet heard the gun fire?

We can applaud ASTV for hiring the hearing and visually impaired as security personnel. But more likely, the ASTV boss forgot to tell all the guards that they have to say that they were in the toilet when the cars were shot.

Another pathetic attempt by ASTV to get publicity (and sympathy).

This is really getting out of hand...

If public figures talking in public about "powerfull influance connected to the Police" involved in shooting,The Army brass feels the need to go public in denial, then the BP must start investigating the "thirth connection" behind this series of events MIB-Shondy shooting-ASTV shooting.
A powerfull dark movement something like the a "brotherhood" which seems to rule , or want to rule Thailand from a shady background out of the limelights on the basis, "those not with us are against us, thus legitime targets" seems to luring from the dark

    Very dangerous!!
    Phomm RAK Thailand!!
