An angry mother ran barefoot around the entrance lobby to the parliament building on Wednesday demanding justice after her 11-year-old daughter was molested by a young monk and police did nothing about it, according to a report.

The woman said she left her daughter with a senior monk, who is a cousin, at a temple in Muang district and went shopping on Sunday.

When she returned, she saw that a novice monk was sexually molesting her child in a bathroom stall. She immediately went to the police station to press charge against the man.

A brave mother. This police is really very disappointing. He has no right to be a policeman. Much to the monk, he should stay away from the Temple before all people will turn back from buddhist beliefs...

One ex-police now a criminal on the run, one ex-police now with the government, a heavy drinker it seems. Another ex-police trying to seducing Bangkok into being elected the next mayor of the city. - Enough said, somehow, the Thais burn the country for democracy, but when they themselves are throttled, suppressed, bullied and opressed - they do NOTHING. You can neither eat democracy, nor save it in the bank. Get back your life, demand your basic rights first.

Wow,,Foreigners just imagine what you will face with just ANY accusation? YOU have NO rights in this unjust country. An eyewitness Thai Mother means NOTHING to them-YOU have NO way out.

Unfortunately, but obviously this poor mother was just another ordinary "Chao Baan" lacking the right connections to get proper police response from the beginning. No need to guess what have happened to this monk if it was the Police Duty Officer's daughter who was molested? "Amazing Thailand"
