Schools to trim homework

Academics have welcomed an Education Ministry order to schools telling them to set less homework for students.

The ministry wants to ease student stress as part of an overhaul of the curriculum.

The Office of the Basic Education Commission (Obec) under the ministry has told teachers to reduce homework set for all Prathom 1 to Mathayom 6 students under Obec's supervision.
